CORRECTION

In my haste to post last night (before the “news”), I misread my notes and credited Landfair with set-point kills in the 1st and 2nd set. Landfair did have the winner in set 2, but it was fellow left-side hitter Rollins who got the winning kill in set 1.

PITTMAN IN THE CLUTCH

I’ll have more to say about individual performance after tonight’s match, but wonderful to see Pittman come alive to dominate the end of the critical 4th set – with 2 kills and 2 stuff-blocks. Great to have Samedy in the clutch, but good to have other options.

STRIB COVERAGE

Good to see the Mpls StarTribune assign a reporter (Rachel Blount) to cover last night’s match. (Do you guys still need me?)

HOOPS COMPETITION

Little Ricky’s boys, who desperately need a road-win, get a chance tonight at Maryland, at 6:00 (FS1); basically the same time as McCutcheon’s squad’s rematch with Penn State, 6:30 on BTN. Probably wear out my thumb and my clicker.
